直線式干燥時間測定儀工作原理：
將制備好的漆膜試板放在試板托盤上，接通電源，電機(jī)通過絲杠帶動劃針做勻速直線運(yùn)動（六個托盤每兩個為一種時間即6h、12h、24h，全程為305mm）。由于漆膜隨時間延長而逐漸干燥，因而劃針在漆膜上的犁痕由寬變窄，由深變淺，以至A后劃不出痕跡，從而顯示出干燥情況的全過程。

直線式干燥時間測定儀使用說明：
★ 依涂膜的干燥快慢，選擇適當(dāng)?shù)臅r間（6h、12h、24h）。
★將劃針抬起，將大提扭向上抬起，推滑動座至左端，將如前所述制備好的試樣放在托盤上，放下劃針和大提扭。
★ 接通電源，按下電源開關(guān)，指示燈亮，再按下相應(yīng)的分開關(guān)，指示燈亮，劃針開始做勻速直線運(yùn)動，到終點(diǎn)自動停止運(yùn)動，而后將開關(guān)關(guān)閉。
★取下試板之前，在啟始點(diǎn)做一記號，再分出各個干燥階段，而后取下試板與時間標(biāo)尺對照，便可判斷出整個干燥過程的各個階段所用的時間，亦可用計(jì)時表測量（注：計(jì)時表應(yīng)與劃針啟動同步）。
★ 砝碼重5g，插在劃針上部，一般用于漆膜較厚或干燥后較硬的場合。
★ 試驗(yàn)后將玻璃試板上的涂料及劃針頭部的粘附物洗去，擦干以備下次使用。

★ Before removing the test plate, make a mark at the starting point, and then separate the drying stages, and then take off the test plate and compare it with the time scale to determine the time used in each stage of the drying process. (Note: the chronograph should be synchronized with the start of the hand).
★ The weight is 5g. It is inserted in the upper part of the stylus. It is generally used in the place where the paint film is thick or hard after drying.
★ After the test, the paint on the glass test board and the adhesion on the head of the stylus are washed away and dried for the next use.
